Let take a look on the Settings tag. At the Dashboard panel, click on your blog title that you want to update. Then click at the Settings tag. We called the "Settings tag" the main menu and the rest below in blue wordings, we named it sub-menu or the Eight Wonders of Blogger. Those in the Sub-menu are, "Basic", "Publishing", "Formatting", "Comments", "Archiving", "Site Feed", "Email" and "Members". These are all the little little parts that control the beauty of your blog. You have to plays with all the sub-menu to understand how it works.
